This seems to be inconsistent with Chapter 2 Page 18, where a young Master Knight is seen with both eyes intact trying to pull out the dragon blade after he defeated a great evil and Grrg seems to be the first great evil he has defeated.
It’s not really a big deal though, the comic is pretty good so far.
